Job description

USG Professionals is looking for a Data Analytics Reporting Specialist (Qlik) for our client in the region of Brussels or Gent. This can be both as a USG Project Consultant or on a Freelance basis! Our client is on a journey to becoming a data driven organisation. As such they are evolving their organisation and building the road to put data at the core of our decision making process. As data analytics & reporting specialist you are the connection between strategy, business and technology. As such they are looking for talent who can structure requests associated with overarching projects. Facilitate where needed the translation of business requirements through mock ups and design thinking. The hire will focus on creating reports from these inputs and collaborates with stakeholders to derive data insight through analysis as they continue to drive adoption. The role balances coordinating, analysing and execution subject to the experience level of the hire. You will work closely with various business units and transversal strategic initiatives. Key responsibilities;

Be a catalyst to structure BI-processes in collaboration with the BI manager.
Ensure their data products and reports are properly documented.
Facilitate the application of ITIL and SDLC processes with a key focus on practical real world application.
Collect, analyse and advise on business requirements
Build prototypes, reports & dashboards in Qlik.
Create clear story lines for insight throughout their reporting portfolio.
Analyse data sets and contribute to the improvement of data quality across the organisation.
Test data, reports and dashboards as a means to driving trust in our products.
Facilitate the adoption of reporting products.

Profile

Practicals:

Minimum 1 day / week onsite to work with business partners is expected.
Multiple locations are applicable for the role; Brussel, Gent, Leuven amongst which you’ll alternate. Brussel being the main office.
Dutch or French is required, English is the working language.
Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical profiles.
High affinity with agile principles is a plus.
Work well in dynamic team structure with many different sources of work.
Key differentiator: you’re pro-active and like to take initiative whilst reporting back on your learnings.
